1. Should the site not be ready, all costs incurred (transportation & concrete) will be levied against payment received if not cancelled timeously.
2. Should more concrete be needed than what was not paid for, the onus rests with customer to make payment before delivery.
3. Please note: company policy dictates that only electronic transfers will be accepted as payment.
4. All payments should reflect on our bank statement 48 hours before delivery (excluding weekends/ holidays).
5. Concrete delivered remains the property of Z2 Readymix until the invoice has been paid for in full.
Full cancellation fee will apply if pump/TCB is not cancelled 48 hours beforehand (excluding weekends/holidays).
Cancellation must be made during working hours: Monday – Friday – 07h30 – 17h00.
Rate of pumping/conveying – minimum of approximately 24m3 per hour. Standing time of R450.00/hr thereafter.
Standing fee of R1000.00/hour if the site is not ready.
Laying of pipes R150.00 per meter (one pipe = 3 metres)
Customer must provide cement and sand for the pump to be primed.
Customer must provide facilities for the pump to wash out the remainder of the concrete in the pipes or on the conveyor belt.
7. It is the responsibility of the client to read and understand the standard terms and conditions of Z2 Readymix which is available on request
8. All mortar or plaster mixes are expected to have shrinkage cracking; however, this can be minimised by good site practices.
9. The quality of concrete degenerates over time and it is for this reason that trucks
are restricted to a 30-minute/load offload; thereafter, standing time is charged @ R25.00 per minute, excluding VAT. No claims for inferior concrete will be entertained after 90 minutes offload.
Part load charges will apply per below:
Due to fuel increases, we unfortunately can no longer absorb and/or waiver the
transport costs for part loads. Part load charges will be applied on all-sized
projects for account and COD customers as follows :
• Orders for 1m3 – 1.5m3 will carry an additional cost of R700.00 ex VAT
• Orders for 2m3 up – 4.5m3 will carry an additional cost of R450.00 ex VAT
Part load charges will NOT be charged on the first final. However, should
additional concrete final be required thereafter, part load charges will be added as
above.
